Given the current realities of intense competition and drastic changes in business environments, the availability of qualified management and technical staff with profound business expertise represents one of the key success factors. At the same time, the complexity of problems is on the rise in many economic sectors. As a response, private companies are increasing qualification requirements for employees – the trend of higher qualification in commerce is clearly evident. The University of Applied Management offers a part-time bachelor degree program in Business Administration with a branch focus on Retail Management. This program is open to all performance-oriented employees. UAM graduates will acquire branch-specific training and will receive an internationally recognized university degree. The content of all learning materials focuses on the trade and commerce. Other specific features of the degree programs include the semi-virtual learning form, constant practice orientation, close integration of academic education and professional training, as well as an adult learning concept promoting individual learning and work-experience enabling direct application of learned material. |
