To be successful in the global economy requires more than just business knowledge. Success demands a unique combination of knowledge and skills involving management and intercultural competency within diverse international environments.

Companies and organizations are searching for managers and employees with above-average qualifications and profiles.

Our program in Intercultural & International Management (in English!) provides the optimal combination of in-depth business and management expertise with intercultural and international competence. In a flexible semi-virtual format combining onsite and online learning, our students receive education that goes way beyond traditional university degree programs:

Experience Learning
More than just classroom or text-based learning, our program integrates real experiences the curriculum increasing student motivation and success. Special guest professors, visits to companies, weekend seminars and retreats combining recreation and study means an atmosphere of learning that is rich, inspired and fun.

Build Relationships
UAM faculty and staff are committed to providing a meaningful university education where students are more than just a number. Professors are experts in their fields and are excited to work with students directly as they move through the program.

Coming from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures, students benefit from each other as they study and work together. Intercultural awareness starts inside the program, from start to finish and beyond.

Semester Abroad
All students are encouraged to complete a semester at a partner university in another country. The semester abroad can occur through the ERASMUS initiative (within the EU), or through the extensive partnership network of international universities in countries outside the EU.

Work Experience
Real professional experience is an important part of the program, and a practice semester is required. Through ERASMUS all UAM students (incl. foreign students) can receive funding support for internships within the EU (up to 350 EUR/semester, as well as support for travel costs). Other opportunities exist for companies to sponsor a student’s entire degree program within a Dual Academic Training Agreement.
